DAMAGE: The allotments
FIREFIGHTERS battled for around five hours overnight to try and contain a large blaze at a allotment site in Padiham.
The Park Road fire, which is believed to be accidental, started at 8pm last night.
The blaze involved several allotment sheds and cylinders and one stone cabin, six timber cabins, five vehicles and one excavator, were wrecked by the blaze.
No-one was injured.
