A PROSTITUTE banned from Blackburn’s red light district by an Anti-Social Behaviour Order was seen within the zone by police patrolling in an unmarked car.
Blackburn magistrates heard Natasha Coker was arrested after a brief chase, and when she was put in the back of a police car threw a stone which smashed the windscreen.
Coker 23, of Hollin Bridge Street, Blackburn, admitted breaching an ASBO, and criminal damage.
She was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months.
Parveen Akhtar, prosecuting, said officers saw Coker in King Street and she ran off. About an hour later, she was seen in Stonyhurst Road.
Roger Pickles, defending, said: “The officers do not say she was acting as a prostitute, and she says she was in the area to see somebody,” said Mr Pickles.
He said Coker threw the pebble out of frustration.
