The Heights take dorm-crushing slabs of US college rock and a Thin Lizzy chorus and shove them together for a last-gasp snog on an indie dancefloor.
The growled vocals are reminiscent of fellow Welsh rockers The Stereophonics on The Bartender And The Thief, and singer Owain Ginsberg's coal-dust larynx should prove equally popular with normally sensible ladies.
On the strength of this single, they seem to have the tunes to prevent them slipping into trad-rock twaddle too.
