A Blackburn schoolgirl will lead out the England team for tonight's World Cup match as a patriotic flag bearer for the team.
Nadiyah Jogee, 15, of Moss Street, Blackburn, won a GMTV competition to carry the George Cross flag before the England v Sweden game in Germany, which kicks off at 8pm.
The Our Lady and St John RC High School, Blackburn, pupil changed the date of her maths GCSE to go on the Coca-Colasponsored three-day trip.
She is one of 300 children worldwide who will fly the flag for their country at one of the chosen World Cup games.
