A COMPANY’s new office, which will include Lancashire’s first drive-through Starbucks coffee shop, will also have a 24-hour petrol station and a convenience store.
The outlets, which will all be open to the public, will be on the site of the new Euro Garages HQ in Haslingden Road, Guide, Blackburn.
The petrol forecourt operator firm is switching its employees from its current base in Black-burn Road, Darwen.
From August, when the new office opens, the site, close to the Royal Black-burn Hospital, will also include a Spar store and a BP filling station, along with the drive-through Starbucks coffee shop.
Euro Garages director Mohsin Issa said the new HQ’s location in busy Haslin-gden Road made it ideal for a petrol station and shop. He said: “The Spar, BP and Starbucks will be part of our new head office but open to the public.
“Haslingden Road is a really busy road, which makes it an attractive place to open these facilities, and it is very close to the M65 too."
As well as passing drivers, Euro Garages hopes the petrol station, Spar and Starbucks will attract some of the thousands of workers at the hospital and nearby business parks.
Euro Garages operates around 100 petrol station across the country, bringing in a turnover of more than £250million.
Its bid to move staff from Darwen to a new HQ in Haslingden Road was approved by Blackburn with Darwen Council in December.
