ROSSENDALE could still be revving up for a bike show in September.
Bike Shows Europe Ltd, which runs a small-scale show in Manchester has contacted Rossendale Leisure Trust for permission to hire Haslingden Sports Centre and the surrounding fields.
It plans to stage a show on September 23 and 24 which is the same date previously pencilled in for the annual Rossendale Valley Motorbike Show which was cancelled earlier this year.
As revealed in the Evening Telegraph the show, which attracts around 60,000 people annually and raises thousands of pounds for good causes, was postponed as the usual site is being demolished.
Organisers have said the traditional event will be held on Easter Sunday next year instead.
