Four years and six solo albums on from leaving Blur, Graham Coxon still can't shake off their influence.
Some of the classic Blur ingredients are in place on You And I - behold the short and snappy hooks, the simple, rousing chorus, the overtly Cockney vocals and the 'la-la-la' ending.
The pop highlight of Coxon's uncompromising solo career. Shame it only squeaked in at 39 in the charts, then.
Released May 8, 2006.
