LOCK n' Load returns to King George's Hall, Blackburn on June 3 with another helping of top-notch stand-up comedy.
But this month's event promises to be special as the audience will be asked to do their bit to help send disabled youngsters on a trip of a lifetime.
Martin Cassidy, one of the men behind the monthly comedy club, is supporting Cheadle schoolgirl Kirsty Ashton in her bid to raise £65,000 to send 100 youngsters to Lapland at Christmas.
Kirsty suffers from the genetic disorder NF1.
Headlining the show will be the City Life Comedian of the Year 2004, John Warburton.
Supporting him will be Dave Twentyman, who will be making a welcome return to Lock n' Load after a six month break.
Also on the bill are Manchester comic Mike Newall and Scouse funnyman Tony Schumacher.
Lock n' Load is at King George's Hall, Blackburn on Saturday, June 3. Tickets are £7 in advance or £9 on the door. Anyone buying a ticket gets free entry to Club Tropicana which follows. For details call 01254 582582.
