A REUNION is being held for former pupils of Mount Pleasant School, in Clayton-le-Moors.
School leavers of 1965 are being invited to the Greyhound Inn, Altham, on Monday, June 5, from 7.30pm onwards, to meet up with old friends.
It is being organised by Valerie Williamson (nee Houston), who attended both the junior and senior sections of the school, from 1955 to 1965.
She said the evening was mainly for people in her year but pupils who attended during this decade were also welcome.
Mrs Williamson has also extended the invitation to any teachers from that period.
She said: "I would ask anyone attending to bring with them any school or class photographs or memorabilia they may still have."
Anyone interested in attending the reunion is asked to contact Mrs Williamson on 01254 775320.
