THE eighth annual Chipping Steam Fair chugged into the village at the weekend.
The fair, held on the Green Lane showground next to the Gibbon Bridge Hotel, featured its usual mix of classic cars, steam engines, working exhibits, a fairground and stalls.
This year's show also featured Rolls-Royce engines from classic Second World War aircraft such as the Lancaster bomber, Beaufighter and Shackleton.
A variety of steam traction engines, classic cars, steam rollers and military vehicles were other star attractions.
A dog agility team, karate team, jazz bands, Irish dancers and arts and crafts were also on offer.
The event was set up to raise money for a new village hall and children's multi-purpose games area.
But both those projects are now completed after the games area was open last month.
Organisers say the proceeds will continue to go to new projects in the village.
