A MAN forced to resign from a community group after singing a racist song has been allowed back after winning a seat on Hyndburn Council.
Nick Collingridge will now take up his place on Clayton Neighbourhood Management Board after no members of the board raised objections.
He was kicked out after receiving a caution following an incident at the board's Christmas party in December.
Coun Collingridge said: "It has all been blown out of proportion."
