POLICE today slammed mindless vandals who damaged a partly-built wall on Hall Street, Colne.
The wall is being built by Pendle Wildlife Trust at a cost of £20,000, which was raised through various awards and donations.
But in the last week it has become the target of youths who have recklessly damaged it.
Sergeant Tom Riley said: "It isn't fair that one or two mindless kids are damaging this wall, which is being built for the benefit of the community.
"If anyone has seen anything or knows who is responsible for this damage then I would ask them to contact the police."
