A STORE boss today told of the moment a serial armed robber pointed a gun at his head and branded the raider inhuman'.
David Parsons offered a £1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the gunman, who has struck six times at off licences since April 2.
And he said he was furious at the trauma the robber had put himself and his staff through by striking twice in a week at the Bargain Booze store in Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn.
The robber has struck four times in the past week, stealing cash and tobacco.
And Mr Parsons said he feared what the robber was capable of, after witnessing his agitated and unpredict-able state as he stared down the barrel of his gun.
Mr Parsons, a director of the East Lancashire-based company said: "It is nothing to do with money being stolen, it is what they are doing to people.
"It makes you feel so angry that they have no humanity about them.
"My staff have been left very traumatised."
Last Thursday Bargain Booze was targeted by the robber, leaving two female shop assistants too terrified to return to work.
Mr Parsons was standing in behind the counter on Sunday night when the robber struck again.
He said: "The gunman walked into the shop with what looked like a handkerchief over his face. He had the gun covered up by a bag.
"He started off talking to us in a calm manner and told us to put the money in the bag.
"But he got more and more agitated.
"He pointed the gun at me and my colleague and kept saying fill the bag.
"He became very, very nervous which is worse when someone has a gun because you don't know what they will do.
"He went out of the shop and at one point he was in Livesey Branch Road brandishing a gun."
The robber is also believed to be responsible for two strikes at Booze Buster in Wensley Road, last Tuesday and on Sunday at 2.30pm.
Those raids are being linked to robberies at Victoria Wine, Redlam, in March and Coral book-makers, Dyson Street, in April.
In all the incidents assistants were threatened with a firearm.
Det Insp Paul Withers, head of Blackburn CID, said police were drafting in extra resources., He added: "There have been six offences possibly linked.
"They are very similar incidents in which he appears to have the weapon inside a plastic bag."
The robber was described as white, 5ft 8ins and of medium to stocky build.
