This limited edition, vinyl-only single is as exciting as being smeared with musical harmonies by two pretty girls pretending to be glam-robots.
Actually it's exactly like that.
Turn It Up is mightily catchy and sounds like a bouncy meeting of 90s indie band Linoleum, panting punk and twinkly electro.
Although they sound sultry in the extreme, Robots in Disguise look as silly as their two appearances on cult TV comedy The Mighty Boosh would suggest: their outfits give the impression of being fashioned from a school jumble sale.
A brilliant teaser to trail their upcoming album, and a must-buy in its own right.
Released May 22, 2006
