WANNABE teachers are being encouraged to go back to school to learn more about the profession.
Alder Grange High School in Rawtenstall is hosting an open evening aimed at students looking to pursue a career in teaching.
The two-hour event takes place on June 7 from 6pm.
It will cover many study areas including foundation degrees, qualified teacher status and training for teaching assistants.
It has been organised by Edge Hill University, Ormskirk home to a new £9million purpose-built centre of excellence for the faculty of education.
Organisers hope the event will give people an idea of the routes into teaching. For details call 0800 195 5063.
