MUMS will attempt to break the world record for public breastfeeding in Blackburn this weekend.
About 100 women are expected to feed at Witton Park, Preston Old Road as part of a nationwide record-breaking attempt on Saturday.
And mothers are being urged to show their support for the cause by joining the group.
Elaine Jackson, director of Little Angels breastfeeding group. said: "We want to raise public awareness of mothers being able to feed in public and make breastfeeding fashionable.
"We want to make it so that people can see it as a normal daily thing.
"We don't want mums to be stared at, we want it so members of the public won't give it a second look.
"I hope anyone who is in the park and doesn't know about the event will have a chance to learn about breastfeeding."
The event begins at 1pm.
