MAGICIANS, jazz bands, and DJs will be performing at Blackburn Station on Saturday alongside old locomotive trains.
The community rail day is being held to encourage people to find out more about the railway line between Preston and Colne.
The 30 mile long East Lancashire line links small villages and major towns through a rich, varied landscape ranging from heavy industry to some of the North's best hill country.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and a restored Class 40 locomotive, and a Class 57 Thunderbird will be on display for people to climb aboard.
The East Lancashire Community Rail Partnership, which aims to improve the line, will also be officially launched on the day.
