SIX pubs in Blackburn are celebrating after helping Thwaites raise more than £25,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The brewery is aiming to raise £100,000 by the end of the year.
Thwaites retail director, Paul Howarth, said: "Our pubs and their customers should be very proud of themselves as they have helped us reach the target for the first quarter of £25,000.
"There has been lots of different ideas for fundraising, including karaoke contests, auctions, curry nights and pub crawls!"
The six Thwaites-managed pubs are the Bridge in Church Street, Fernhurst Hotel in Bolton Road, Millstone Hotel in Bridge Street, Observatory in Whinney Edge, St John's Tavern in Ainsworth Street and T-Bar in Lords Square.
