FAMILIES are being urged to clear out children's cupboards and turn items into cash.
The next sale of used nursery goods by the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) will be on Saturday, June 10, from 10.30am at the St Mary's Centre, Church Brow, Clitheroe.
Now something of an institution for parents in the Ribble Valley, the sales are an opportunity to buy or sell children's clothing, books, toys, pushchairs and cots.
Registered sellers can bring their goods in the morning and collect the proceeds later that day. volunteers from the NCT do the hard work.
Anyone wishing to sell items should register now for an information pack.
Sellers receive 70 per cent of the sale price, with the remainder going to the NCT.
Cash will go towards the training of local volunteers in breast feeding and post-natal support and the running of ante-natal classes.
Contact Hazel Dewhurst on 01254 822707 for a pack.
