Orson swapped the sublime sunshine of Hollywood for the colder, cloudier climes of the UK. Seems foolish, but it's paid off and they now find themselves soundtracking our re-acquired love for glistening guitar pop.
Their first single No Tomorrow reached number one recently, but this is unlikely to repeat the trick, even with the redundancy of the singles' chart nowadays.
At its best, in the middle, it invades Jellyfish's territory, but without their sardonic sting.
The rest? CD:UK pop-rock fodder structured in the boardroom.
Released May 15, 2006
