A PUBLIC meeting will be held in Burnley on Monday night over controversial hospital shake-up plans.
The meeting, which will be hosted by hospital managers, will begin at 6pm at Burnley Town Hall.
Senior doctors will be on hand to take questions about the changes, which will see serious emergency patients taken to Blackburn's Queen's Park Hospital instead of Burnley General.
Val Bertenshaw, project director, said: "We want to listen to people's views on what we are proposing and to try to answer questions.
"Although part of the session will be about us outlining the proposals the real aim of the meetings is to hear the views of patients, carers and members of the public.
"Many people have read and heard a lot about what we are proposing but this is a real opportunity to hear first hand from the people who've developed the plans and to give your views."
