WALKERS wanting to take part in the annual Darwen Tower Trudge sponsored walk have just one week left to gather in their sponsors for charity.
The event, which involves a ten-mile walk, will begin at the Olde England Kiosk in Sunnyhurst Wood next Sunday, May 21, between 9am and 9.30am.
The last checkpoint will close at 1.30pm and every entrant who completes the course will receive a certificate.
Safety cover on the day will be provided by Bolton Mountain Rescue.
And marshalling of the route will be carried out by the Rotary Club of Darwen, which organises the event.
Last year, 125 walkers raised around £2,250 for a range of charities and organisations.
