FIREFIGHTERS and police were today investigating an arson attack on a shed which spread to a house and a car.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Kiddrow Lane, Burnley, just before 12.30pm on Saturday.
They arrived to find the homeowner out and a fire that had spread to a Ford Escort parked on the drive as well as the window and door frames of the property.
The shed was destroyed in the fire which also damaged the front of the car and the window and door frames.
Watch manager at Burnley fire station, Ian Potter said: "A large shed next to the house was on fire and it has spread to the car and subsequently the window frame and the door.
"We have contacted the police and are treating it as suspicious.
