EAST Lancashire primary schools are being urged to channel their energy into winning an award.
The call comes from Powergen, which is looking for entrants for its newly-created Positive Energy School Awards Any class or group of pupils aged between seven and 11 can enter using creative work in either English, music, art or dance lessons to explore their ideas about positive energy in and around their school.
Teachers at participating schools will receive free curriculum-based resources, case studies and classroom posters.
