A DARWEN antique centre will hold a free valuation and open day tomorrow in the hope of raising cash for charity.
Belgrave Antique Centre, which recently moved from premises in Bolton Road to Meadow Street, will open to customers from 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday.
Owners Elaine and Martin Cooney will provide free valuations to anyone bringing in antiques during the day in return for a donation to Derian House Children's Hospice, Chorley.
Elaine, 40, who helped run the centre in Bolton Road for eight years, said: "If people want to come long and get a valuation all we ask is they give £1 or more.
"There will be a donation box for Derian House in the centre so we are hoping people will be generous."
