SUPER slimmer Shelley Heneghan is hoping to step her way to new heights of success.
For the 35-year-old mum-of-two, who has shed almost four stones following a healthy eating plan, is set to use her success as an example to other slimmers when she takes over as the new consultant at a Rawtenstall-based weight loss group.
At her heaviest Shelley, of Burnley Road East, Waterfoot, weighed almost 14 stones.
But since following the Slimming World programme and taking part in regular exercise she now weighs less than 10 stones.
Shelley, who works as a team manager for the Prescription Pricing Authority in Manchester will lead the group, which meets at St James the Less, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall on Wednesday evenings.
She said: "I have far more energy these days and as a busy working mum I need it.
"I often cycled to the group, with some of the members joking that I will need a trailer to put the stock and scales in when I take over."
She added: "I am really looking forward to being the consultant at the group, it will be a new and exciting challenge for me and I want everyone to have the help, encouragement and support that I received. "
