DARWEN Cricket Club wants volunteers next weekend to help transform the ground.
It is hoped that more than 100 people will take part in the facelift, part of the Nat West CricketForce 2006 scheme on April 8 and 9.
Club bosses are also appealing to local businesses for building and DIY materials, electrical equipment, outdoor seating, signage, plants and catering.
The project will include decorating inside the club house, building an extension to the equipment store, painting the perimeter fence, and decorating the changing rooms at the Sandy Lane site.
