A BANNED motorcyclist smelled of drink when stopped by police but would not give a breath test.
Burnley magistrates heard Stephen Gorton, 21, had almost lost control of the trials bike after officers had tried to get to get him to pull over.
His speech was slurred and he was arrested but was uncooperative with police.
Gorton, of Branch Road, Burnley, who was on licence and is now behind bars after being recalled on a previous sentence, was jailed for 112 days.
Sentencing, the bench told him he had been extremely aggressive and abusive. The chairman added the defendant's driving had been dangerous and created a high risk to the public.
Gorton admitted driving while disqualified, failing to provide a sample for analysis and no insurance on February 4.
The new prison term will be served concurrently to his existing sentence.
The defendant was banned for three years.
