A FATHER-OF-TWO police claimed was a very high risk to his former partner has been jailed for 42 days for flouting an injunction taken out by her.
Shane Corps, 36, of Schofield Road, Rawtenstall, was back behind bars just two weeks after winning his freedom when a crown court jury cleared him of terrorising Joanne Bertenshaw.
Corps had denied three allegations of breaching an injunction but was sent to custody after two of the allegations were proved.
Corps had claimed the breaches were just coincidental although he accepted he was present on all three occasions.
He has previously been sent to prison twice for flouting injunctions and assaulting Miss Bertenshaw, the mother of his children, the court was told.
