A man collapsed and died while cycling through Whalley.
The 72-year-old was found collapsed by the side of the roundabout at the junction of Mitton Road and Clitheroe Road at around 2.30pm on Thursday.
A passer-by called the emergency services and the man was taken by ambulance to Blackburn Infirmary but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The coroner has been informed of the death and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
