BLACKBURN Rotaract is appealing to track down its founder president to complete the club's 25th anniversary celebrations.
Ian Browne was founder president in 1981, when the club was first formed, and the club want him to attend a special dinner to mark the day.
All other past presidents have been traced and members say the event, being held at the Shireburn Arms, Hurst Green, on June 17, would not be the same without him.
None of the present day members have any contact details for Mr Browne, who will now be in his mid 40s, and it is not known if he is still living in the area.
Current president David Hammer said: "It would be a great shame if such a local institution could not have its founder president there on this special evening."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Mr Hammer on 0781 1163951.
