AWARD winning Rossendale packaging company Flexipol is to expand its operation after wrapping up a new lease deal.
For Flexipol has agreed a new six-year deal for a 12,300 sq ft unit with the Hurstwood Group on the Carrs Industrial Estate in Haslingden.
The agreement means the Flexipol operation now has more than 40,000 sq ft.
Dermot Griffiths, Flexipol's logistics director, said: "It was a natural development. We needed room to expand the operation, so when the unit directly opposite our base became vacant we decided to take it.
"The location, being so well placed for the motorway network, is ideal for us."
Established 12 years ago, Flexipol is one of the North West's manufacturing success stories a success born from an innovative approach.
The company has made its name by coming up with packaging solutions for the bulk food supply sector.
