Continuing Modular's trend of releasing ear-grabbing original music, Cut Copy's Going Nowhere is the sound of an indie band stranded in a dirty electro club.
Hidden among the multiple synthesisers and deep, deep bass rolls are the frazzled Aussie vocals of front man Dan Whitford something a thousand Franz Ferdinand wannabe bands could do with hearing.
Both this original and the inevitable remixes it will inspire should be welcomed at discerning clubs throughout the land.
Released January 23, 2006.
