AN argument after a night out ended with a 35-year-old man storming round to his girlfriend's flat and breaking a window, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Lee Hoole had been ordered out of the taxi they had been sharing after a row over another woman he said fancied him.
Hoole, of Bute Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
He was given a conditional discharge for 18 months, and ordered to pay £150 compensation, and £55 costs.
Emma Kehoe, prose-cuting, said that shortly after Hoole's girlfriend got home he arrived and started banging on the door, before smashing the window.
Roger Pickles, defend-ing, said Hoole had gone round to try and sort things out with his partner.
"When she didn't want to entertain him, he accepts that he foolishly threw a plant pot through the window," added Mr Pickles.
