ROSSENDALE development firm Hurstwood Construction has won a £1.45million contact to build luxury apartments of the edge of a city park.
The company, part of the Hurstwood Group, is set to build 11 exclusive apartments in one five storey block built on the edge of Heaton Park in Prestwich.
The block, which will include ground floor parking, is of a contemporary design and will comprise 10 apartments and one large penthouse.
Commercial director Stephen Glynn, who will oversee the project, said: "We are delighted to have landed this deal. Hurstwood has a wealth of experience in the residential sector indeed we established our reputation in it. This particular project is an exciting one because it has a very state of the art feel to it."
Hurstwood has been awarded the contract by developers Olnato Ltd. Work is expected to be completed in November 2006.
