Barnoldswick town council is laying on a series of events to try and jazz up its annual general meeting and encourage more people to go.
There will be a photography exhibition in the Civic Hall foyer and light refreshments will be served at 6.15pm on March 2 before the meeting starts.
The council has also involved local volunteer Maureen Childs to give a presentation at 6.30pm. This will be followed by the presentation of the town awards.
Chairman Maureen Hill Crane said: "By organising some additional activities before the meeting we hope to get more residents to attend."
