POLICE have vowed to meet worried residents in a bid to stamp out youth disorder in the Woodnook area of Accrington.
Officers will speak to people about the problems they are suffering after some residents said they were afraid to go out because of the unruly youngsters.
There have been complaints of youngsters drinking and drug taking as well as reports of petty crime and vandalism.
Insp Terry Woods said that a mobile police station will be located in the centre of Woodnook on March 25.
He said: "I will park the police station in Augusta Street and we will knock on every door."
A public meeting takes place at Christ Church on Monday, February 20, at 6.30pm.
