A 19-year-old Blackburn man who assaulted his pregnant partner and his father and stole from his mum to pay a drug dealer has been jailed.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Mark Andrew Fisher attacked his partner, who was 22 weeks pregnant, kicking her in the back and side.
He later told police he had drunk a bottle of vodka, three bottles of cider and taken two bags of heroin.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Mark Fisher would not let his girlfriend call for medical attention despite the fact she was having difficulty with her breathing.
Fisher, 19, of Unity Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to two charges of assaulting Louise Henwood and theft of a bottle of Bacardi from Asda, assaulting his stepdad Michael Fisher and stealing a bank book and cash card from Marilyn Fisher.
For the assaults on his partner, Fisher had originally been made subject to a community supervision order for two years with a condition he attends the domestic violence programme.
The order was revoked and he was sentenced to a total of 120 days in prison.
Neil White, prosecuting, said Fisher was with his partner at her mother's house and they had gone to bed together.
"She was suffering discomfort because of her pregnancy and she pushed him," said Mr White.
"His response was to fly into a rage and punch her on the nose."
