The Mighty Boosh, the latest kings of surreal comedy, have lined up a Blackburn show for March.
Having played the international comedy circuit and enjoyed TV and radio success, The Mighty Boosh are to hit the stage with their first live tour of the UK.
The show will give you the opportunity to see all the characters from the cult BBC show.
Witness Mr Susan the cloth beast as he brandishes his miraculous mirror balls for your enjoyment, recoil in fear at the evil Cockney hitch hiker, marvel at the uncanny skills of Naboo the Enigma as he hypnotises you into buying merchandise after the show, and dance against your will as Old Gregg, the sea transsexual, lures you with his pout of doom.
The Mighty Boosh - Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding - promise that you will witness music, dancing and men talking to each other in wigs.
They say you will laugh, cry and learn French, be changed forever yet remain exactly the same.
The characters Vince Noir and Howard Moon were first brought to life by Barratt and Fielding in the upstairs room of a orth London pub back in the late 90s.
They made their Edinburgh Festival debut in 1998 in The Mighty Boosh, winning the coveted Perrier Award for Best Newcomer.
In 2001, Barratt and Fielding were commissioned by the BBC to write and star in The Boosh, a six-part comedy series for Radio 4 based upon the adventures of Vince and Howard. The series went on to win The Douglas Adams Award for innovative comedy writing.
Then last year, Steve Coogan's Baby Cow Productions produced the first series of The Mighty Boosh, which was aired on BBC Three in May, moving to BBC2 in the November.
The second series was aired on BBC Three in the summer.
The Mighty Boosh play King George's Hall in Blackburn on Friday, March 17. Tickets are £18.50 on 01254 582 582.
