Tobacco worth £4,000 was stolen from Spar in The Fountains in Barrowford.
Thieves forced the shutters at the front of the store and set the alarm off yesterday at 3.40am.
They fled in a black vehicle towards the M65.
Police believe the driver was an Asian man and the last three letters of the registration plate could be XGH.
