A WOMAN who turned to crime after her marriage broke down has been warned she could be facing jail.
Former lollipop lady Wendy Sims, 34, ended up getting arrested again after sticking two fingers up at police, being abusive to officers and shouting and swearing.
Burnley magistrates heard how the defendant had never been in trouble until about 18 months ago but since then had ended up on the wrong side of the law several times. She was currently under a suspended jail term.
The defendant, of Bar Street, Burnley, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and resisting a police officer in Nelson on January 25. She was bailed for a pre-sentence report and was told the bench was not ruling out custody.
