A TEENAGER who returned to Clitheroe in breach of an Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) has been ordered to do 100 hours unpaid work for the community, a court was told.
And the prosecutor at Blackburn magistrates court highlighted the importance of naming people made subject to ASBOs after Robert Bibby was identified by a member of the public.
Bibby, 18, of the Salvation Army Hostel, Heaton Street, pleaded guilty to breaching the order.
Peter Wild, prosecuting, said among other things the order prohibited Bibby from entering Clitheroe.
After police were tipped off that he was living in the town Bibby was arrested and admitted that he had been there for 26 days since he was released from prison for a previous breach of the same order.
Sian Hall, defending, said the breach had been born out off necessity rather than a flagrant breach of the order made in May.
"He has asked me to express his remorse," said Miss Hall.
