A £250,000 play area has been unveiled on a Blackburn housing estate.
Blackburn with Darwen Council has spent the cash to improve the play area in Manxman Road, which includes a playground, skate park, playing field and a multi-use games area.
Coun Andy Kay, executive member for regeneration, said: "This impressive play area is a real asset to the community.
"It has been created to meet the needs of younger and older children."
Chairman of the Longshaw and Highercroft Residents Association, Jack Crossland, said: "There have been frustrations along the way but the end result is something we can be proud of."
