A ROOFER who drove while disqualified made his second court appearance in three days and kept his freedom again.
Daniel Donald Phillips, 25, who parked around the back of Colne police station, ran from the vehicle on seeing officers. He then hid as the area was searched.
The defendant, who has two previous convictions for banned driving, was given a community order with 12 months supervision, after admitting disqualified driving and no insurance.
On Monday, Phillips, of Sheridan Road, Laneshawbridge, received a similar order at Burnley Crown Court, after pleading guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and damage.
