An independent school received planning permission to build 16 new classrooms and dormitories.
Moorland School, in Ribblesdale Avenue, will now go ahead with a new two-storey building containing 16 classrooms, 16 dormitories, a library and a new hall.
It, will replace three timber-framed classrooms and the tennis courts. Ribble Valley Council received no objections.
