Disabled horsewoman Felicity Coulthard, of Essex Street, Darwen, has been back to the classroom in her bid to become a Paralympic winner.
The 20-year-old, a member of the World Class Programme aimed at the best equestrian riders in the country, has taken part in a cross-discipline training session in Gloucestershire.
It involved lectures and demonstrations which included sport science during which she helped dissect a horse's leg.
