PEOPLE interested in folk music are invited to join a Bacup-based group.
Bacup Folk Club's aim is not only to provide a venue for local musicians to play but also to invite talented performers from far and wide to entertain.
Anybody who enjoys folk music of all genres is invited to join the popular group.
People joining are guaranteed a warm welcome and entry is only £1 including free entry into the weekly raffle.
Bacup Folk Club's Paul Edwards said: "If you play an instrument or sing, come along and give us a tune or two people don't need to be shy - we welcome performers of all abilities."
Bacup Folk Club meets every Monday night at Bacup Conservative Club, Irwell Terrace, at 8.30pm.
Melodeon player Ed Rennie will entertain the group on January 23 followed by a sing-around on January 30.
For more information about the club or getting involved contact Paul Edwards on 01706 872810.
