POLICE have been targeting an area in Ramsbottom plagued by gangs of unruly yobs.
As reported previously in the Evening Telegraph, gangs of teenagers have been causing havoc in the Bolton Road West area between Dundee Lane and Alfred Street on Friday nights.
In a recent incident hooligans gathered near Bargain Booze on Friday and threw missiles at the shop.
Residents have demanded action from the police at community meetings.
Now officers are taking action with a high-profile presence in the area.
