A WOMAN sustained broken ribs and a dislocated elbow in an assault at an Accrington town centre taxi office.
The 53-year-old victim was said to be with her son in the Kenyon Street office when she was approached from behind by three males who punched her in the back of the head then punched and kicked her repeatedly.
Sergeant Mark Porter said: "This was a nasty assault."
Following the assault police arrested three men. Two of them have been released on police bail pending further inquiries and the third was released with no further action to be taken against him.
