POLICE have seized £500-worth of what they believe to be heroin following a raid at a house in Accrington.
They searched the property, in Bold Street, on Monday.
Three people were arrested during the raid.
But, after being interviewed, all three were released on police bail pending the results of forensic tests.
Sergeant Mark Porter said: "We executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a substance we believe to be heroin, worth approximately £500 was recovered."
He said that officers had been out in the community following the raid to talk to local people about the police activity at the house.
Sgt Porter said: "We have done some reassurance work in the area with the community beat managers and police community support officers explaining to residents what has been going on."
